Welkom op de site van de Apostolische Kerk “De Rots”. Wij zijn een jonge kerkgemeenschap die als hoofddoel heeft om onze Heer Jezus Christus te aanbidden. Wij dienen een machtige, levende God die dezelfde is gisteren, vandaag en tot in de eeuwigheid (Hebr. 13:8). Wij geloven in zijn reddende en bevrijdende kracht en willen dit delen met de rest van de wereld. Waarom de “Rots”?: “… en dronken allemaal dezelfde geestelijke drank. Want ze dronken water uit een geestelijke rots die overal met hen meetrok, en die rots was Christus.” (1 Korinthiërs10:4, GNB96).
Ons geloof en waarden zijn gebaseerd op onze Rots: Jezus Christus. Een fundament waarop men kan bouwen. “U staat gebouwd op de fundering die gelegd is door de apostelen en de profeten; de hoeksteen is Christus Jezus zelf.” (Efeziërs 2:20, GNB96).
En “Ieder die mijn woorden hoort en doet wat ik zeg, lijkt op iemand die zo verstandig was zijn huis op een rots te bouwen. De regen viel neer, de rivieren traden buiten hun oevers, de winden waaiden en beukten tegen dat huis. Maar het stortte niet in, want het was gebouwd op een rots.”(Mattheüs 7:24-25, GNB96). Bouw uw huis, bouw uw leven op die rots !
Als je nog geen regelmatige kerkganger bent of zoek je een plaats om God te dienen, mogen wij u dan vriendelijk uitnodigen om van “de Rots” uw Kerkgemeente te maken. Hier zal je lieve, warme mensen ontmoeten, levensveranderende boodschappen horen en het vuur en passie van levende aanbidding voelen.
